Payment Policy

Fortress Signing & Notary operates on a confirmation-based payment system. Appointment requests are reviewed before confirmation. Payment terms are designed to keep scheduling clear and ensure travel/service coordination is confirmed before dispatch.
Important (Confirmation-First)
- Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee service. Appointments are confirmed only after direct communication and written confirmation.
- Travel/service fees (if applicable) are confirmed before dispatch and charged only when agreed upon in advance.

When Payment Is Due
Payment is due after appointment confirmation and before dispatch unless otherwise arranged in writing.
No notarial or service work will begin until payment has been received or the appointment has been formally scheduled under agreed terms.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Square (secure invoice link provided after confirmation)
- Cash (exact amount strongly recommended)
Cash Payment Policy
Cash payments may be accepted only after confirmation and must be paid at the time of appointment unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Clients are strongly encouraged to provide the exact amount due. Fortress Signing & Notary does not guarantee change will be available.
For safety and accurate recordkeeping, cash payments may require a brief receipt acknowledgment.
Retainer Clients
Retainer agreements follow separate invoicing terms outlined in the signed service agreement.
