These Terms explain how the Fortress Signing & Notary (“FSN”, “we”, “us”) website and appointment request system may be used. By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms.

- Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.
- Your appointment request is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from Fortress Signing & Notary.
- No travel begins until timing and any applicable travel/service fees are confirmed.
- Do not upload government-issued IDs unless explicitly requested.
- FSN does not provide legal advice or document preparation.
- Retainer services (if offered) cover only what is explicitly stated in the written retainer terms; notarial act fees remain separate.
1) Appointment Requests & Confirmation
Submitting a request is a scheduling inquiry. We review requests and contact you to confirm service details, location logistics, signer readiness, and any applicable travel/service fees before dispatch. Your appointment request is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from Fortress Signing & Notary.
Availability outside Standard Hours is not guaranteed and is offered only when scheduling permits.

2) Fees, Travel, Optional Services, and Retainers
Notarial act fees are set by Nevada law and are separate from optional travel fees and optional non-notary services. Any optional travel/service fees are disclosed and charged only when agreed upon in advance.
Convenience Time Windows: Appointments requested outside Standard Hours may be subject to premium convenience rates when available. Early Bird (1:00am–6:00am) is request-based and requires approval. Extended Availability is limited to Tuesdays and Wednesdays only and is offered outside standard hours when scheduling permits.
Retainer Services (if offered)
FSN may offer retainer-based service arrangements for certain recurring, non-notarial business support services (for example, repeat verifications, reporting, or courier coordination) when explicitly documented in a written retainer agreement.
- Notarial act fees remain separate: Retainers do not include Nevada statutory notarial act fees unless the written retainer terms explicitly state otherwise.
- Scope is defined in writing: Retainers cover only the specific scope, limits, and time period stated in the retainer terms.
- Travel and special access: Optional travel, special access, and premium/convenience fees are handled as disclosed in advance and may still apply unless the retainer terms explicitly state otherwise.
- Scheduling still requires confirmation: Retainer status does not guarantee availability.

3) No Legal Advice
FSN provides notarial services and scheduling coordination. We do not provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or advise you which document to use. No attorney-client relationship is created by your use of this website, our forms, or our communications. If you need legal guidance, consult an attorney.
4) Uploaded Files (Optional)
Uploads are optional and intended for pre-review to coordinate service (e.g., document type, page count, witness needs). Do not upload government-issued IDs unless explicitly requested.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any documents you upload.

5) Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate contact information, location details, and appointment context. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay scheduling, prevent completion, or require rescheduling.
6) Cancellations, Reschedules, and No-Shows
If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible. If a request is canceled after dispatch or we arrive and the notarization cannot be completed due to readiness issues (missing signers, missing/unacceptable ID, document issues, refusal to proceed), previously disclosed and agreed travel/service fees may still apply.

7) Acceptable Use
- Do not submit false requests or impersonate another person.
- Do not attempt to upload malicious files or misuse the site.
- Do not use the site to harass, threaten, or violate others’ rights.
7B) Right to Refuse or Stop Service
FSN may refuse, pause, or stop service when legal requirements are not met, when identification/signer readiness is insufficient, when safety concerns exist, or when a request appears unlawful, abusive, or inconsistent with ethical obligations. We may also reschedule due to travel constraints, access limitations, or operational conflicts.
8) Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, FSN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this website or delays resulting from incomplete/ inaccurate request details, connectivity issues, or third-party platform interruptions. This does not limit any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We do not guarantee that every request can be completed. Completion depends on legal requirements, signer readiness, document condition, and other constraints.
8B) Third-Party Services
Our website and appointment request system may rely on third-party services (for example, hosting, email delivery, and business productivity tools). We are not responsible for outages, delivery delays, or interruptions caused by third-party platforms.
9) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
10) Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect operational, security, or legal changes. Continued use of the website after updates indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
